Government agencies want Mid Western states to participate in a Earthquake Drill. Well that’s all good and fine but

1. Why in the Midwest where there are no fault lines and not in say California or Washington?

2. Why all of sudden Earthquake drills are getting set in motion?

3. What does the government know that they are trying to prepare us for, but are not telling us?

“The Great Central U.S. ShakeOut” Earthquake Drill Set for April 28

More than one million people in an eight-state region are expected to participate in “The Great Central U.S. ShakeOut” earthquake drill April 28, 2011, at 10:15 a.m. IEMA is encouraging schools, businesses, government agencies, families and others to register now to participate in the drill, which will highlight “Drop, Cover and Hold” protective actions people should take when an earthquake begins. Read the entire press release.

IEMA was one of the first Illinois organizations to register to participate in the drill. Anyone interested in participating in the drill can register atwww.shakeout.org/centralus.
