// <![CDATA[This change in the Fed’s communication with the markets alone is enough to give investors the jitters, but the nervousness is compounded by the anticipation of a signal by the Fed chief as to whether the quantitative easing that has fueled this bull market will continue past its stated end date in June.

“I think Bernanke wants to continue to ‘QE3,’ but the rest of the Fed does not, and if he has to admit that on the air, it could be the turn,” said Steve Cortes, founder of research firm Veracruz LLC.

Stocks flirted with a new bull market high on Thursday as the first quarter came to a close. Two weeks ago U.S. stocks looked like they were headed for a correction as turmoil in the Middle East, the earthquake in Japan and weak consumer and employment data in the U.S. combined to bring the bears out in force.

Inflation Rage: SWAT Standoff in Texas Over 50% Food Price Increase

Author: Mac Slavo

Price increases will be felt with disdain and met with anger across the entire economic spectrum:

The price of the Beefy Crunch Burrito had gone up from 99 cents to $1.49 and the man at the Rigsby Road Taco Bell drive-thru had just ordered seven.

The fast food customer was so disgruntled by the price hike he shot an air gun at the manager, displayed an assault rifle and pistol while in the restaurant’s parking lot, fled as police were called, and pointed one of his weapons at three officers who pulled him over. Fleeing when they opened fire, he barricaded himself in his hotel room — all over $3.50 plus additional tax.

All three of his weapons were found to be air-powered and not firearms.

It may not seem like a lot of money, but for many, $3.50 could be the difference between eating tomorrow or not. Ricardo Jones of San Antonio, TX experienced a 50% food inflation rate. Enough to set anyone off – perhaps not to the point of threatening restaurant employees and police with firearms (real or not) – but certainly enough to cause stress, anger and even rage

When are we going to realize that money, inflation, and deflation are all an illusion. Seriously? The problem with here is the price of things go up, the wages and raises go up. So why the hell raise the cost of anything then? Who cares if you make $50,000/yr when your costs are $50,000/yr. If your costs were $12,000/yr and you made $12,000/yr you would be in the same predicament. This just an illusion for the average human sheepminded individual thinking they are accomplishing something by have more denominations of something that is valued as something in less denomination.

Let’s take for an example, if I say “1 trillion dollar” sounds like alot but you can’t relate. But if I say “$787,000” or “$541,000,000″ you think ” WOW THAT IS ALOT OF MONEY”. It is a mind trick. Corporations use it on you all the time. Y’know when you ask “why do they make something $2.99 or $2.98?” Because they know the average consumer is too dumb to figure out that $2.99 and $3 is the exact same thing! But the three is imprinted into your head since you were a kid that it is MUCH bigger than 2. 787 sounds bigger than 1 no matter how many zeroes are behind it or lack thereof.

Freedom for every human will only come when we drop mental chains realize that it has all been a magic trick and a scam!

“Even in the developed world I think we have very, very low wage growth, so people aren’t getting more in their pay packet to compensate them for food and energy, and I think we could see social unrest certainly in parts of the developed world and the UK as well.”
